eBay in 3D
Flea markets are like eBay in 3D, but unlike eBay, we do not take a percentage of your sales nor do you need to take pictures of your items, write descriptions, or arrange for shipping. Just show up, set out your merchandise, and convert your items into cash. Its that simple!
We offer daily rates starting as low as $11. Our office is open: Friday: 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Saturday-Sunday: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Stop by anytime during these hours to rent a booth, or Contact us
About The Market
(We are pretty proud of our Market, so please let us brag a bit.)
Waldo Farmer’s & Flea Market is known as the “Old Fashioned Flea Market”. Waldo is special – we are a true flea market (not like the converted big box stores that call themselves a flea market). We are an old established market located on 50 acres. Shoppers have been coming to Waldo for over 35 years. Our target market is a 100 mile radius, but we are known all across the Country as one of the best flea markets around. Average weekend attendance is around 30,000 people – that is a lot of customers!! There is a diversity of shoppers – all ages, income level and ethnicity. Friendly folks too! Our customer base is broad – Families buying their weekly farm fresh produce, restaurant owners stocking up on kitchen supplies, handy man getting a bargain on tools, antique lover finding their dream treasure, a leash (or shot) for the dog, or maybe a new puppy. What about a chicken or rabbit – yes we are a true farmers market. People know they can find anything and everything at Waldo, so when they want an enjoyable shopping experience they head to Waldo Farmer’s & Flea Market.
How do I rent a Booth?
Super Easy!! We don’t take reservations over the phone so just stop at the office. Bring cash – we don’t accept credit cards or checks. There is an ATM beside the office. You may rent a booth up to two weeks in advance or just wait till the day you are setting up. The earlier you rent the larger choice of booths. (First time vendors don’t forget to bring a chair and lots of small change.)
How much does it Cost?
Booth rates start as low as $11.00. Most of our booths under the covered sheds are $16.00 per day. For $16.00 the following things are included: You get a 10 x 10 booth, two 8’tables, a 20’ parking area and your city license fee. Outside spaces vary in size, number of tables and price. Lockups, storage trailers, MiniMall and Westside shops are also available (inquire at the office).
Electricity is available at most locations and costs $2.00 per outlet for basic use. (See rules for restrictions)
What can I sell?
Anything from “Blue Jeans to Green Beans”, we do not allow adult videos, guns or counterfeit items to be sold. There are restrictions and other fees to sell food and drinks (see food concessions page).
When can I set up?
Any vendor with a paid booth rental may be on the property from sunup till 6:00pm and you may set your own hours. The busiest times are from 9:00-4:00. However, other vendors like to shop before they set up so we suggest that you arrive no later than 8:00am.
Can I get the same space every weekend?
Yes – become a permanent vendor. This guarantees you the same booth every week. You agree to rent your booth every weekend and pay rent one week in advance. This is good until you give us notice. Permanent vendors get a discounted rate if there is a price increase. Your customer knows where to find you. Just provide us some information on your merchandise and we will place some advertising for listing your booth number.
The Antique Village
Waldo Farmer’s & Flea Market is also home to Waldo’s Antique Village. This 24,000 sq. ft. Mall is filled with quality Antiques & collectables. Open Daily from 9-6. For more information please contact the Antique Mall at 352-468-3111 or visit the Antique Village page.
Waldo Farmer’s & Flea Market didn’t become the institution that it is by just being there. We spend over $50,000 each and every year on advertising to remind people to come to Waldo. When you rent a booth at Waldo a large part of your rent goes toward advertising to bring you more shoppers. Everyone has seen our TV ads with the famous saying “Just Look for the Big Chair, Windmill and The Big Horse!!” Currently we have TV ads on a lot of the popular shows like Pawn Stars, American Pickers, Storage Wars, etc. in addition to regular lineup of shows. We sponsor Antique Roadshow on the Jacksonville and Gainesville PBS stations. Billboards are located all around north central Florida. Ads in Newspapers like The Alligator (University of Florida), El Anunciante and numerous Antique publications. We place yards signs at all the local events and have a walking billboard of the big horse. Of course we do lots of social media advertising like newsletters and Facebook, all this and more for only $16.00 booth rent.

WHAT IS STOPPING YOU??
Don’t put off tomorrow what you can do today – make things happen in your life. It may be as small as cleaning out the clutter in your home and turning it into money in your pocket. Waldo is the perfect place to have a garage sale. Our rent is cheaper than running a classified ad, plus you don’t have to worry about having strangers scoping out your home. Maybe you are ready to really make a difference and pursue your dreams of owning your own business. Once again, Waldo is the perfect place to make that start. The overhead is very low and there is no long term commitment. Where else can you get your product or service out in front of so many people?
